What is Morelli?

Giovanni Morelli was an Italian art historian and critic who developed a unique method for identifying the authorship of paintings.
His method involved close examination of the details in a painting, such as the ears and hands of the figures depicted. He believed that these details were often unconsciously done by the artist and therefore could be used to identify the painter. Morelli's method was controversial at the time, but it is considered to be an important precursor to modern forensic techniques used in art authentication. Based on his method, we created Morelli.ai to check images for patterns of AI generation and validate their authenticity and separate human made art and AI generated one on a global scale.
How it works?
Morelli.aiuses neural network architecture trained using VisionTransformer (ViT) and BERT for i mage and text representations respectively.
Our training dataset consisted of a diverse set of authentic art pieces and AI generated content, which were fed to the network in order tolearn the features and patterns that distinguish them.
ViT architecture allows the model to Transformer (ViT) and BERT process images at high resolution while still being able to effectively capture the fine-grained details of the art pieces.
This combination of Vision Transformer and BERT allowed the network to effectively learn both visual and semantic features of the art pieces, resulting in a highly accurate model.

Why Morelli.ai?
Morelli.ai's goal is to tackle the issue of AI-created art being mistaken for artwork made by human artists.
This has become increasingly prevalent , particularly in the world of digital art, where AI software can easily be used to produce art, and then sold as a human-made art piece; or in some cases used to plagiarize genuine art.
The face of Morelli.ai has become increasingly prevalent Morelli.ai and the man behind the whole idea is Vaca MartÃnez, a renowned designerr in the digital space.
As an art lover he wanted to find a way to separate AI art from art made by human artists, and with help of a team of friends Morelli.ai was made. The goal is to help fellow artists have some kind of verification that the art they present is made by them, and not generated by AI.n some cases used to plagiarize genuine art.
